We now support OpenDocument Format (ODF) 1.4. The ODF 1.4 specification provides support for many new features.
React with "Like" to a comment
Quickly identify new comments or new replies with the blue dot and show your support for a comment with a like reaction.
Dynamic diagrams with dynamic arrays
In Excel 2024, you can now reference dynamic arrays in charts to visualize data sets of variable length. Charts automatically update to include all data when the array is recalculated, rather than being fixed at a specific number of data points.
text and array functions
Excel 2024 now includes 14 new text and array functions to help you manipulate text and arrays in your worksheets. These functions make it easier to extract and split text strings and allow you to easily combine, reshape, resize, and select arrays.
New IMAGE function
In Excel 2024, you can now add images to your workbooks using copy and paste, or use the IMAGE function to retrieve images from the Internet. You can also easily move, resize, sort, and filter within an Excel spreadsheet without moving the image.

Cameo
Cameo lets you insert your live camera feed directly into a PowerPoint slide. You can then apply the same effects to your camera feed as you would to an image or other object, including formatting, transitions, and styles.
Create a video in the recording studio
Record your PowerPoint presentation - or just a single slide - and capture voice, freehand gestures, and your video presence. Export your recorded presentation as a video file and play it back to your audience.
Embed Microsoft Stream videos (on SharePoint)
Add Microsoft Stream videos (on SharePoint) to your presentation to enhance and enrich your storytelling.
Add subtitles for video and audio
You can now add subtitles to videos and audio files in your presentations. Adding subtitles makes your presentation accessible to a wider audience, including people with hearing impairments and people who speak a different language than the one in your video.
Improved search for emails, calendars and contacts
New improvements have been added to search in Outlook 2024 to highlight messages, attachments, contacts, and calendar entries so that the most relevant suggestions appear as you type your search.
More options for creating meetings
Outlook 2024 gives users more options when creating or managing meetings and helps you schedule breaks between calls by automatically shortening meetings based on their length.
Restore your Word session
If Word 2024 closes unexpectedly before you save your recent changes, Word will automatically reopen any documents you had open when you closed it, so you can pick up where you left off.
